YES Prep Brotherhood Summit
This event engaged local high school African American and Hispanic students in discussing topics surrounding Black Lives Matter, the documentary “The 13th”, college admissions and leadership development. This event was hosted by YES Prep and Dr. Jerry Wallace served as a facilitator for group discussions. In addition Dr. Jerry Wallace reviews UHD Admissions requirements with interested students, discusses leadership ideas with high school young men from YES Prep as well as discusses ideas on politics and education with high school young men from YES Prep. .
YES Prep Partnership
Dr. Jerry Wallace establishes a partnership with YES Prep in connecting with 300 high school age males in supporting leadership,academic development, cultural awareness, mentoring and college admissions at the YES Prep Brotherhood Summit engaging African American and Hispanic males.
