Scope of Responsibilities
At UHD, Dr. Kaser is responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining administration processes and supervises and evaluates staff and faculty. She develops promotional materials for the program and leads the development and maintains accuracy of the program's webpage. Dr. Kaser teaches three courses during the calendar year and participates in multiple commencement exercises each year. She also develops the academic schedule, conducts program assessment, and recruits faculty and students. She serves on various university-level committees and task forces. Dr. Kaser is also a co-PI on two Texas Affordable Baccalaureate (TAB) Grants awarded to UHD to develop competency-based concentrations for the Applied Administration degree program.
Educational Qualifications
Dr. Kaser earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Education - Community and Human Resources from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Master of Science in Occupational Education and Bachelor of Science in Business Composite Teacher Education from the University of Houston and Associate of Applied Science in Business Administration from San Jacinto College.
Professional Experience
Dr. Kaser has more than 30 years of experience in higher education leadership, including teaching, advising and administration. Her experience also includes 24 years at UHD in various roles. Dr. Kaser's professional experience includes serving as Assistant Director for the Statewide Coordination and Improvement of Nebraska's Vocational Teacher Education Programs for the Department of Vocational and Adult Education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
