Job Summary

The Parking Enforcement Officer is responsible for monitoring and enforcing parking regulations within a designated area. This role involves patrolling, issuing citations, interacting with the public, and supporting campus parking operations. 

Duties

  • Monitors and enforces university parking regulations by patrolling campus lots and garages, issuing citations, and coordinating vehicle immobilization or towing for violations. 
  • Offers general assistance and information to students, staff, faculty, and campus visitors 
  • Troubleshoots parking equipment issues and reports maintenance needs to appropriate personnel 
  • Provides motorist assistance, including vehicle lockouts, jump starts, and tire inflation support. 
  • Escorts individuals to nearby areas not served by university shuttle services to ensure safety 
  • Identifies and reports emergencies, safety hazards, and unusual incidents occurring on or near university property.

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of one (1) year of related job experience
