Job Summary
The Coordinator of Instructional Media and Data Insights plays a key role in enhancing teaching and learning by designing accessible, high-quality instructional materials and media in collaboration with faculty and the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence (CTLE). This position supports program assessment and continuous improvement through the development of data dashboards and reports that track faculty engagement and program outcomes. Additionally, the manager leads the planning of educational events, oversees communication and outreach initiatives, and contributes strategic insights to advance the CTLE's mission.
Duties
- Collaborates with faculty to design and produce accessible, high-quality instructional materials for face-to-face, hybrid, and online courses, ensuring pedagogical effectiveness and alignment with university branding
- Provides specialized support for faculty in instructional media production, including lecture capture, educational podcasts, and multimedia asset creation, while managing the CTLE Design Studio's operations and schedule.
- Designs and maintains data dashboards and reports using tools such as SQL, NoSQL, and Power BI to support program evaluation, faculty engagement tracking, assessment and strategic planning of CTLE programming.
- Assists in planning and coordinating CTLE workshops, orientations, and teaching development events, including logistics, communications, and materials preparation.
- Project-manages CTLE initiatives and campaigns, ensuring alignment with institutional goals and timelines across instructional, promotional, and developmental activities.
- Leads the design and production of CTLE marketing and communication materials, including web, digital, and video content for promoting programs and increasing faculty engagement.
- Advises and supports CTLE director by contributing data, visualizations, and analysis for reports, grant applications, and presentations related to teaching and learning initiatives.

Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in digital media, Graphic Design, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Data Analysis, or Database Management

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of multimedia production and design, including proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition, etc.), Microsoft Office, and expertise in video/audio recording, editing, lighting, and studio/virtual setups.
- Knowledge of instructional and web design, including instructional methodologies across learning modalities, web development, accessibility standards, and fluency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and React JS.
- Knowledge of technology and software systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases, database management practices, Power BI, Learning Management Systems, and design-related tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of project and program management, including project management tools, practices, and strategies for digital and print marketing in higher education environments.
