Scope of Responsibilities

At UHD, Dr. Beebe is responsible for facilitating faculty efforts in the areas of teaching, service and scholarly/creative activities. He evaluates faculty performance annually and faculty seeking promotion and/or tenure bi-annually. Dr. Beebe develops and monitors the departmental budget and creates the department class schedules. His duties also include addressing student issues regarding scheduling, faculty concerns, engaging district partners to support the field experience component for teacher certification, as well as hiring and monitoring adjuncts, lecturers and tenure-track faculty.

Educational Qualifications

Dr. Bebee earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Counselor Education from the University at Buffalo, the State University of New York; Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary and Bachelor of Arts in Religion/Chemistry from Duke University.​

Professional Experience

Ronald Beebe has more than 20 years of higher education experience. His academic experience includes work as Adjunct Faculty at the University at Buffalo, the State University of New York and Hilbert College, Assistant Professor in the Department of Curriculum and Foundations at Cleveland State University and Assistant Professor in the Department of Urban Education at UHD.
