Scope of Responsibilities
Emily Leffler is responsible for examining various data sets in order to support decision-making in the Marilyn Davies College of Business. Her work includes studying student enrollment data, student survey responses and student success data, which include transcript data, persistence and completion trends. Ms. Leffler also leads the data support for college AACSB accreditation efforts and provides faculty data to the Department Chairs. She supervises college staff in Assurance of Learning and Assessment, as well as in Digital Communications.
Ms. Leffler earned her Master of Arts in Computational and Applied Mathematics from Rice University and Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Applied Music – Voice from Mary Baldwin College.
Ms. Leffler's experience includes work with relational data performing reporting and analytics. She has nearly 20 years of experience working in higher education, including work in analyzing student success data and discovering trends through cohort analysis, retention, persistence and graduation behaviors, as well as developmental education and student demographics analysis.
