Student Research Conference –
Virtual 2020 (SRC)
The Student Research Conference 2020 will be a virtual event this year. The SRC takes place April 17th, 9am – 3pm. The SRC will host a STEM keynote Dr. Karina Vazquez-Arrequin, oral undergraduate student presentations, special STEM presenter Dr. Antonio Tito, and poster presentations by UHD undergraduates.
All UHD community members are invited to this virtual event taking place via Zoom video conferencing platform.

What to anticipate from the virtual SRC Conference 2020?
One large Zoom main screen for Keynote speakers
A shared Zoom screen for viewing PowerPoint of speakers
Opportunity to hear all presentations
Opportunity to ask questions of all guest and undergraduate presenters
Poster sessions held in discipline-based breakout rooms with opportunity to ask questions
Opportunity to attend multiple poster session breakout rooms
All break out rooms with moderators
A FlipSnack flipbook SRC program guide provided to all UHD community
Conference souvenirs will be addressed as UHD comes back to campus

Past Conferences
We are pleased to present the proceedings of our past Annual UHD Student Research Conferences sponsored by several federal, state agencies, and the UHD Scholars Academy in the College of Sciences and Technology. Over 300 guests, faculty, and students attended the Spring 2019 conference, in which 140 undergraduate authors and co-authors from UHD presented a total of 8 oral presentations and 87 poster presentations.
Research presented resulted from projects conducted by our students at UHD and elsewhere in national competitive academic internships and corporate programs. We are proud of the effort that these high-achieving students put into their research presentations, and we trust that each presenter found their experience challenging and rewarding. The research conducted by many of these students has served as a springboard for participation in local, regional and national conferences.
SRC 2020 will include mentored research posters that will highlight student experiences that reflect our student's commitment to learning and servicing our community.
