The University of Houston-Downtown Project Management Foundation Certificate Program is designed to help project managers and team leaders successfully motivate and lead a team, while coordinating their efforts to ensure workflow stability.

The Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)® Prep 6th Edition live online training course provides Project Managers with the knowledge and skills needed to master the Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) 6th Edition, understand the Project Management Institute’s (PMI)® best practices, and attain the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification. The PMP® credential is the most widely accepted professional certifications in the world and its framework has set the standard for the project management profession for the past 30 years.

This live online training course will strengthen a student’s project experience with global terminology and the proven framework for leading and directing project teams and in delivering project results within the constraints of scope, budget, schedule quality, risk and resources. The Project Management Institute (PMI)® has modified the previous body of knowledge to consist of 49 project processes within five core process groups and ten knowledge areas which are now inclusive of project tailoring and Agile influences as well. This online training course will cover these processes in a reasonable, consistent, and effective way to quickly and sufficiently prepare students for the Project Management Institute (PMI)® credential.

Our Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)® Prep 6th Edition course contains hours of Bonus Material designed to help prepare students for the PMP® exam experience and attain the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification. In addition, our course includes project templates that students can use immediately as they apply these principles in the workplace.
