Soccer

The Houston Club Sports Conference (HCSC) first began sponsoring soccer in 2003-04. The HCSC seeks too further the sport of soccer through the participation of collegiate students in a competitive college club level conference within the area of Houston, Texas. The HCSC strives to make the conference convenient, relatively inexpensive and rewarding for college students to participate in. The conference hopes to provide opportunities for students to build friendships and to learn life lessons through friendly competition and to enable teams to play several times at home in from of their own student bodies and to raise awareness of their teams and the "beautiful game" on their campuses.

The HCSC season usually runs from September to October. Conference matches are generally played on Saturdays with some occasional matches on Sundays.
