Evaluation Process
HR Talent Management assigns a Performance Evaluation to Staff Employee in My TalentSpace
Staff Employee completes self-evaluation in My TalentSpace
Supervisor completes employee evaluation in My TalentSpace and reviews employee's self-evaluation
Evaluation forwarded to appropriate levels for approval
HR Talent Management reviews and approves evaluation for compliance and consults with Supervisor regarding any issues
Supervisor meets with Employee to discuss evaluation
Employee enters final comments and signs evaluation
Supervisor reviews employee final comments and signs evaluation
HR Employee Relations reviews final comments and consults with Supervisor regarding any issues
HR Employee Relations meets with Employee who does not agree with their evaluation
Staff Performance Evaluations are conducted annually per posted schedule.
Performance Improvement Plan
(Employee's overall rating is less than 2.5)
HR Employee Relations initiates Performance Improvement Plan process with Supervisor
Supervisor completes Performance Improvement Plan
Supervisor meets regularly with Employee to review performance progress
Supervisor completes top portion of Performance Improvement Plan Progress Assessment and forwards to Employee
Employee completes Employee Progress Report section and signs Assessment and returns to Supervisor
Supervisor completes Management Progress Report section and signs Assessment and forwards to appropriate Vice President
Appropriate Vice President, reviews and approves Assessment and forwards to Vice President, HR
Vice President, HR reviews and approves Assessment
Supervisor notifies Employee whether improvements have been achieved
Performance Improvement Plan ends if improvements achieved or termination procedures initiated if improvements not achieved
