Step 2

Dept Administrative Staff create a Requisition in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

Step 3

Requisition forwarded to appropriate levels for approval

Step 4

Requisition forwarded to HR Talent Acquisition for review and approval

Step 5

Position posted on HR - Careers at UHD website

Step 6

Student Applicants apply for position on HR - Careers at UHD website

Step 7

HR Talent Acquisition reviews and forwards Applicants who meet minimum qualifications to Hiring Manager

Step 8

Hiring Manager selects Applicants who met minimum qualifications for interview

Step 9

Hiring Manager updates Applicants status (selected/rejected) in ATS

Step 10

Hiring Manager interviews Applicants and selects final candidate(s)

Step 11

Hiring Manager extends verbal offer to candidate(s)

Step 12

Candidate(s) accepts verbal offer

Step 13

Hiring Manager updates the status of Applicants selected for interview and creates Offer Grid(s) in PageUp

Step 14

Offer Grid(s) forwarded to appropriate levels for approval

Step 15

HR Talent Acquisition conducts a criminal background check on Candidate(s)

Step 16

Candidate(s) passes criminal background check and official offer letter is extended

Step 17

Hiring Manager informs Candidate(s) to provide I-9 documents to HR within 3 business days of start date

Unapproved Requisitions and Offers are returned to the department.
