Scope of Responsibilities
At UHD, Dr. Grau administers the daily operations of the University Academic Support Center. He manages and monitors applicable budgets within the department, oversees the development of student online services that support academic units and their retention. Dr. Grau also collaborates with academic and student affairs divisions to promote student success workshops and retention initiatives.
Dr. Grau earned his Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Houston, Master of Science in Instructional Technology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Philosophy from the University of St. Thomas.
Dr. Grau has more than 20 years of higher education experience and has served as an Adjunct Lecturer in Urban Education at UHD since 2009. Throughout the past 20 years, he has been a strategic partner in representing students and University interests related to his area.
