Internship Duties
Intern would be responsible for the following:

• Assisting in search
• Application process and submission of required report.
• Drafting and/or reviewing project abstracts and program narratives
• Developing budgets and preparing items for City Council approval

A writing sample must be submitted for consideration.

Application and Background Information: 
The student must fill out the VIP application on line, which is located at http://www.houstontx.gov/police/vip/index.htm  and their resume.  I will contact the student to schedule an interview and background check.  Once student is approved they will attend an orientation and obtain their HPD ID badge.
