How to Begin at UHD

Steps to apply for admission as a Freshman:

  1. Apply online at www.applytexas.org.
  2. Submit Official High School Transcripts in institution's sealed envelope. UHD complies with House Bill 3826.
  3. Pay non-refundable $35 application fee.
  4. Submit official SAT or ACT scores.
  5. Track your Application Status online.

 

Steps to Apply for Admissions as a Transfer Student

  1. Apply online at www.applytexas.org.
  2. Pay non-refundable $35 application fee.
  3. If you have Credit by Examination that you would like UHD to consider, please view the steps to request AP/CLEP/IB credit here.
  4. Submit official transcripts from all colleges/universities attended.
  5. ACE credits may be added to your academic record once you have applied for credit in consultation with the Advisor for the College of your Major.
  6. Submit proof of Texas Success Initiative (TSI). Exemptions may apply.
  7. Track your Application Status online.

 

Veterans Services is here for your VA educational benefits. Once you have registered for your classes, you can submit a Request for Enrollment Certification. For the first time using your VA educational benefit at UHD, you will need to submit your Certificate of Eligibility (COE) by attaching it to the request.
