UNCF manages various scholarship programs and each program has its own eligibility criteria, open/close dates and required documentation. UNCF awards more than $100 million in scholarships annually to students attending more than 1,100 schools across the country, including a prestigious network of 37 HBCUs. The GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship offers college scholarships of up to $40,000 for high school seniors nationwide who showcase leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship.

- Taco Bell Live Mas Scholarship
The Live Más Scholarship is for students who are pursuing higher education, preparing for the workforce, or using their passion to ignite change in their communities and beyond. Deadline: January 11, 2023.

- Caffarelli Scholarship
Rocco C. Caffarelli established this scholarship in order to provide educational opportunities for young men residing in Texas who plan to attend a Texas college and earn a bachelor’s degree. Deadline: January 12, 2023.
- Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship
The Cooke Undergraduate Transfer Scholarship is a highly selective scholarship for the nation’s top community college students seeking to complete their bachelor’s degrees at four-year colleges or universities. Deadline: January 12, 2023.
- First Community Cares Foundation Scholarship
It is our privilege to award deserving high school graduates with college scholarships through our Annual Scholarship Program. Each year, we award up to seven scholarships of $4,000 each to qualified members. Deadline: January 16, 2023.
- Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship & Internship
Get a $40,000 scholarship ($10,000/year) towards an undergraduate degree in engineering or computer science and a guaranteed summer internship at Amazon! Deadline: January 20, 2023.
- The Greater Houston Community Foundation
The Greater Houston Community Foundation (GHCF) administers a variety of unique scholarship funds that grant over $3 million annually to college students. The scholarship funds have been established by thoughtful and generous donors and each has a unique set of eligibility criteria and award structure. Deadline: January 20 & 31, 2023.
- Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Scholarship
The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo has committed more than $575 million to Texas youth and education. Each year, the Rodeo awards more than 800 scholarships. Deadline: January 31, 2023.
- Texas Student Housing Scholarship
This scholarship is open to students accepted to colleges in College Station, or Denton, Texas, that have NOT signed off-campus housing leases. Deadline: January 31, 2023.
- The Giving Gown Foundation Scholarship
Female seniors in High School from Houston or surrounding area with a minimum of 2.5 GPA are eligible to apply for the Giving Gown Scholarship. Must enroll in a full or part-time undergraduate program working towards an associate’s, bachelor’s degree, trade or workforce certificate at an institution of higher education accredited by a state or nationally recognized accreditation agency. Deadline: February 1, 2023.
- McDonald's HACER National Scholarship Program
The McDonald's HACER National Scholarship Program will offer scholarships to up to 30 outstanding Hispanic students from all over the country. Funds are aimed to help recipients finance their college tuition, and there are three tiers. Deadline: February 7, 2023.
- Marvy Finger Family Foundation Scholarship
Our mission is to provide HISD graduating seniors with access to quality high demand employment opportunities through obtaining a certificate, license or AAS from a local community college. Scholarships will be awarded based on the applicant’s commitment to a career and technical program, grades, extracurricular activities, and financial need. Deadline: February 24, 2023.
- Univision/UHD Scholarship
Univision Houston and the University of Houston- Downtown “Tu Futuro” Scholarship is designed to motivate Latino youth in the Houston area to pursue higher education. Deadline: February 26, 2023.
The Dream.US National Scholarship
*For undocumented students
Applications are open to undocumented immigrant students with or without DACA or TPS who came to the U.S. before the age of 16 and before Nov. 1, 2017. The award is renewable each year – you simply have to meet the continuing eligibility criteria. Deadline: February 28, 2023.
- Goya Foods Culinary Arts Scholarship
The Goya Foods Culinary Arts Scholarship is available on a competitive basis to students planning to enroll as freshman in a culinary arts or food sciences area of study. Deadline: March 1, 2023.
- The Foundation 649 Scholarship
Foundation 649 discovers and empowers young, talented Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders who are actively elevating and serving their communities across the country. A grant of $4,000 over the course of 4 years that can be applied to college tuition and expenses to those selected. Deadline: March 1, 2023.
- Thurgood Marshall College Fund
TMCF Scholarships are given to outstanding students, ambitious and qualified, who plan to earn a baccalaureate, graduate or professional degree. Most scholarships are one year, non-renewable unless otherwise indicated. Deadline: August 31, 2023.
