Grupo Fantasma Takes the Stage on May 2

From Grammy Winners to Local Gems: UHD's Concert Series Kicks Off at Discovery Green

UHD and Discovery Green are back once again to give the people what they want: great music, good times, and a friendly atmosphere. Get to Discovery Green this May and see performances each week at 7 p.m.

It’s only right, then, that UHD’s Thursday Night Concert Series begins with Grupo Fantasma—their album “El Existential” won the Latin Rock, Alternative or Urban Album category at the 53rd Grammys and has been described by critics as an international blend of sounds and “a near-perfect fusion” of Latin funk, salsa, jazz, reggae, and psychedelic guitar.

Before that, concertgoers will be treated to opening act Grupo Vadenagi, a Mexican Norteno band.

Read on to see the full suite of performers and discover your new obsession...
