Biography

Dr. Kang's area of expertise is the genetics behind brain function. She is easily qualified to teach General Biology and General Genetics. Her postdoctoral work at Baylor College of Medicine gives her expertise to teach Human Genetics. She has worked on the genes behind particular neural patterns in Drosophila as a study organism to better understand the genetics of human brain structure and function. Dr. Kang also has a decade of teaching experience and publications in behavior and genetics of neural development.
