Biography

Dr. Tonya D. Jeffery is an Assistant Professor of Science Education, Social Justice, & Equity in the Department of Urban Education at the University of Houston-Downtown, where she brings years of experience as a science middle school teacher, department science chair, and other leadership roles. She holds an EdD in curriculum and instruction, with a science education specialization.
