Dr. Poonam Gulati

Biography
Dr. Gulati is a tenured faculty member in the NS Department with the rank of Associate Professor. She has a Ph.D. in Microbiology, Immunology and Pathology and an active research program bacterial biofilms. She teaches majors microbiology (MBIO 2305) and has undergraduates involved in research in her lab (MBIO 3300). She also had an Honors Student working on an independent microbiology project under her mentoring (MBIO 4399). Dr. Gulati had many years of teaching experience, is a Teaching Award winner and has supported a large number of research students that have presented their work at both local and national meetings.
