Dr. Meghan E. Minard

Biography
I earned a PhD in Cancer Biology and did postdoctoral work in molecular and cell biology. I teach several biology courses as well as Freshman Seminar. I am passionate about educating people in science and biology, and I enjoy using Service Learning in multiple courses to impact student learning.

Courses Taught
I teach a variety of courses at UHD including General Biology I and II, Fundamentals of Nutrition, Freshman Seminar, Genetics Laboratory, Biology Seminar, and Molecular Biology.
Experience Qualifications
I completed a postdoctoral fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. During this fellowship and after, I taught part-time at UHD, and I have been a full-time lecturer since 2015.
