Biography

Scope of Responsibilities

Dr. Manrique is responsible for managing initiatives that support and enhance student services and undergraduate student experience. He oversees undergraduate business programs and their renewal and expansion. Dr. Manrique supervises and manages undergraduate enrollment and retention efforts and oversees the College of Business academic advising. He also works with the dean and department chairs in managing course offerings and coordinates the participation of the College of Business in recruitment events and publication of marketing materials.

Educational Qualifications

Dr. Manrique earned both his Doctor of Philosophy in Economics and Master of Science in Economics from Iowa State University and Bachelor of Science in Economics from Universidad Nacional Agraria, La Molina, Peru.

Professional Experience

Dr. Manrique has extensive experience in higher education. His experience includes work as an Assistant Professor, Interim Chair and Associate Professor with the FAEIS department at UHD.
