Dr. Franklin Emeka
Biography
Franklin Emeka holds a Ph.D. in Juvenile Justice, Master's degree in Behavioral Science/Sociology and Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. He has served as interim Vice President of Student Services at Lone Star College, Kingwood, Dean for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at DeVry University, and department Chair for Public Services at Lone Star College, Kingwood. Dr. Emeka also worked as an adult Probation Officer for 12 years at Harris County, (Houston) Texas. He has over 22 years of teaching experience in high education, both at the University and Community College levels. His diverse graduate degrees allow him to teach two different disciplines, Criminal Justice and Sociology. Presently, Dr. Franklin Emeka is a Faculty Lecturer of Sociology at the University of Houston-Downtown.
