Biography

Dr. Moeini joined UHD as an Assistant Professor of Accounting in Fall 2022. He has also taught at Kent State University while pursuing his Ph.D. in accounting. His primary research interests are audit quality, executive compensation, and corporate investments. He has published papers in the Accounting Horizons and International Journal of Accounting & Finance Review on audit quality impact of audit firm office acquisition and on measurement operationalization in accounting research. He enjoys teaching financial accounting and auditing to undergraduate and graduate students. In his free time, he likes to play tennis and watch soccer games.
