Dr. Adriana Visbal

Biography
Dr. Visbal has a Ph.D. in Developmental Biology at Baylor College of Medicine as is easily qualified to teach any introductory biology course. Her work during her Ph.D. and during her postdoctoral work at Baylor College of Medicine focused the genetics and development of tissues in normal vs. cancerous states. She is an expert in Cancer Biology and well qualified to teach an upper-level Cancer Biology course (BIOL 3308). Dr. Visbal was also awarded a Postdoctoral Fellow and Institutional Research and Career Development Award (IRACDA) while at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, TX so she has received strong training in modern science education.
