Amen Leung is the Project Coordinator for the Enrollment Management team.
Amen believes that her attention to detail is what separates excellent work from magnificent
work. The finer points are what really matter, whether she is working with clients
or completing projects. Amen places a high value on cooperation and collaboration.
As they say, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Amen has been able to
be more effective by cooperating with others to achieve shared goals. Amen holds a
Project Management Professional Certification, Six Sigma Black Belt Certification,
and a Professional Scrum Master I.
Amen has over 10 years of extensive experience in managing large-scale projects from
the first requirements-gathering phase to completion. Prior to working at the UHD
(University of Houston Downtown), she worked mainly in the airline industry for more
than 16 years. Her main job responsibilities include coordinating the efforts of the
Passenger Service Initiative and supporting the Program Manager and the Enterprise
Solutions IT teams in managing project timelines and deadlines, tracking progress,
and keeping the focus on driving results/improvements.
Amen’s passion is learning about life through traveling and exploring new things.
Hiking is also a hobby during her leisure time.
