Delicious aroma fills the air as the various groups grill their favorite foods for their friends to enjoy. Many of the groups will participate in the decorating and cook-off contests with prizes going to the winners in various categories. |Join us for an evening of art and conversation with UHD President Dr. Juan Sánchez Muñoz on opening night for an exhibit featuring Rio Grande Valley artist Natalia Anciso. |Do your community and body some good. This special event will consist of a short volunteer shift followed by a Hot Core Cardio Class courtesy of YogaOne Studios. Hot Core Cardio combins the elements of yoga, interval training cardio and muscle toning with energetic music. Hot Core Cardio creates a stronger core, improves circulation and increases flexibility. This class is appropriate for beginners to advanced. Please note this is a yoga class and you will be asked to remove closed toed shoes for class. Don't forget your yoga mat, towel and 1L of water.|
Participates are encouraged to donate $5 to the Houston Food Bank, which is the equivalent of 15 meals, or 5 canned items to help feed neighbors in need.
