Job Summary

The Coordinator, Student Reclamation directs and oversees Student Reclamation programs to re-engage and graduate former UHD students. The Coordinator recruits new transfer students with some credit, no credentials (SCNC), and coordinates with cross-campus partners.

Duties

  • Advises and assists students in navigating UHD from admission to graduation
  • Recruits former UHD stopped out students as well as new transfer "some credit, no credential" SCNC students
  • Oversees the operational elements of student reclamation programs including data management
  • Collaborates with campus partners to develop business processes to facilitate the engagement of SCNC students from admission to graduation
  • Creates and/or coordinates communications for student reclamation
  • Develops and plans the implementation of student reclamation initiatives
  • Hires, trains, and supervises support staff and student workers

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communication, Education, Marketing or a related field

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 (three) years of related job experience, including experience with institutional policy and program implementation.

License/Certification:

  • None required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree is preferred

  • Knowledge of trends, issues, and accepted practices relevant to the position

Skills:

  • Good technical skills, including proficiency in MS Excel, MS Access, and PeopleSoft;
