Job Summary
The Applications Specialist analyzes, recommends, tests, implements and supports specialized auxiliary-related services and third party vendor applications.
Duties
- Develops, troubleshoots and supports Touchnet One Card System, including point-of-sale system and ID production component
- Develops, troubleshoots and supports Parking Management System including permit allocation programming and facility-access control
- Provides technical support for course material adoption and access components and it's integration with the university's learning management system
- Creates and maintains web content of auxiliary services websites including Parking and Transportation Services, Shipping, Receiving an Mailroom and University Business Services with link to websites to on-campus external auxiliary partners
- Manages projects and serves as technical lead for auxiliary application systems, working closely and in coordination with Information Technology
- Acts as liaison between auxiliary partnering vendors, customers and University Business Services
- Performs required application system upgrades

Qualifications
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related field
Required Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years of job related experience

- Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any unpleasant elements
- Occasionally kneeling to troubleshoot hardware, equipment failure, etc.
- Work environment involves minimal exposure to physical risks
- Occasionally lifting/carrying equipment up to 50lbs.
