INDIVIDUAL REVIEW COMMITTEE FY22
Charge
The Individual Review Committee is responsible for the following activities:
- Review all appeals from applicants who do not meet pre-qualified full admissions criteria for freshman or transfer admissions standards

Coordinate with academic affairs and enrollment management to identify success-based admission procedures for at-risk freshman applicants
- Serve as formal appeal committee for admission decisions. Review and answer any student appeals for admission
- Recommend annual admission procedural changes that improve student success
Composition
The voting membership of the committee consists of one faculty representative from each degree-granting college; the committee is chaired by elected leadership and supported by staff members from the Admissions division who convenes the committee and keeps a record of all official procedures and decisions. Others may be invited to support committee conversation and processes as appropriate.
