Programming in Java Programming

Learn the most popular programming language in the world – the easy way! Analyze and build Java applications, an interactive, visual editor for Java. This course teaches Java programming in an interactive and engaging way that is technically relevant, pedagogically sound, and highly motivational. Programming doesn’t have to be dry and boring. Using the Java Programming environment, and an extensive collection of compelling example projects, students are given a unique, graphical framework in which to learn Java programming. It allows easy development of two-dimensional graphical applications, like simulations and interactive games. Once you speak this language, you’re going to have a lot to say!

Who can attend?

Students ages 12 through 17 (7th Grade - 11th Grade)

Anyone interested in problem solving, creative and logical thinking, sequencing, puzzles and collaboration with others on programming projects.

Recommended Prerequisites​​

Basic understanding of any programming language or completion of a course in Visual programming.
