Humanities and Social Sciences Minors
The College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHSS) offers undergraduate minors in a number of fields and subfields of the college's disciplines. Requirements for CHSS minors are listed in the course catalog.
Interdisciplinary Minors offer students the opportunity to explore a subject from multiple perspectives. Courses in these minors are principally taught by faculty from the Departments of Arts and Communication, English, History, Humanities and Languages, and Social Sciences, with select course offerings from faculty in other colleges.
Declaring A CHSS Minor
If your major is located in CHSS, you can declare a minor by contacting CHSS Advising
or by emailing your request to CHSS_Advising@uhd.edu. If your major is in a college other than CHSS, please contact the advising center for your college to declare a minor.
