The BAAS in Applied Administration with a concentration in Applied Public Administration and Leadership (BAAS-AA-APAL)  is part of the Texas Affordable Baccalaureate Grant (TAB) program.  This concentration is an addition to the BAAS-AA degree program based in UHD’s College of Public Service and is aimed at bolstering the skills and knowledge of those serving the public sector. This concentration is targeted toward seasoned professionals with extensive career experience who have not completed their undergraduate degrees. It will be an asset to those seeking to elevate their careers to administrative positions and other supervisory roles that require a university degree.

Tuition for the AACB/APAL Courses
The amounts shown in this section are provided to assist students in assessing the cost of enrolling in the BAAS-AA-APAL program at the University of Houston-Downtown.  Note that these tuition rates are only available to declared BAAS-AA-APAL majors and only applicable to AACB and APAL courses.  All other courses, including General Education core courses, are charged at the normal UHD tuition and fee rates.  BAAS-AA-APAL majors may not enroll in both an AACB/APAL course and a course that is charged at full tuition level during the same term.
