Question: I am already registered for 9 hours in the Fall. As an undergraduate (completing Bachelors), is that considered full-time?

Full-time enrollment for undergraduate students is 12 semester credit hours. You can add a fourth class (which does not have to be a business class), or you might consider working with our Career Development Center to enroll in a credit-bearing internship. Question: I am already registered for 9 hours in the Fall. As a graduate, is that considered full-time?

Full-time enrollment for graduate students is 12 semester credit hours. Question: Can I apply for scholarships in the Summer?

Scholarship applications for the 2022-2023 academic year were open from November 15, 2022, until 11:59 p.m. on March 20, 2023. There was a single application for all college-based scholarships; however, it will reopen in early spring for possible consideration.

Question: What documents must be submitted before submitting a scholarship application?

One (1) reference letter (preferred from UHD professor but not required). PDF Format strongly preferred
Completed Program Guide for your primary major.
Personal statement (500 words or less) detailing why you should be considered for a scholarship. PDF format is highly preferred.

Question: As an international student, I intend to apply for your undergraduate program next school year. Are there any scholarships available for international students?

Scholarship applications for each academic year are available from November 15th until March 20th. We currently have one application for all college-based scholarships; however, this will reopen in early spring for consideration. Please refer to our scholarship webpage for more information.
