What is a Bachelor of Social Work?
Students in the Bachelor of Social Work program will acquire the knowledge and skills needed to empower a diverse multitude of individuals, often from underrepresented or oppressed populations. Students will examine societal issues on a global level, and apply theory, research, and practical experience in classroom discussion, as well as when developing treatment plans with measurable outcomes. A unique aspect of this program is the field experience component, which provides students with the opportunity to work alongside a Social Work professional for college credit.
