Verb tense
A verb is a word that describes action, state or occurrence. Verbs are expressed in the present tense, past tense, and future tense.

| Past: actions occurred | The Dateline published Issue 3 on Thursday, February 17. |
| Future: actions will occur | The Dateline will publish Issue 4 on Thursday, March 3. |
