​	UHD Retirees Luncheon Welcome Center TDECU Tour Room (Girard Street Building) The Annual UHD Retirees Luncheon brings together retirees and employees with 20+ years of service at the University. ​	President's Report to the University Community Robertson Auditorium (One Main Academic Building) UHD President Dr. Juan Sánchez Munoz’s first address to the University community that will set a course for the new academic year and celebrate successes of the previous year. ​	​ Naming of the Marilyn Davies College of Business Marilyn Davies College of Business (Shea Street Building) Faculty and friends of Houston entrepreneur Marilyn Davies and the Davies College of Business will gather to unveil new signage on the building in recognition of Ms. Davies’ generous unprecedented gift to the College.
