Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a Federal regulation that protects the privacy of student education records. FERPA laws restrict student information from being released to anyone aside from the student (including parents).
The student can grant written permission to third parties by submitting an Authorization to
Release Student Information Form to the
Registrar’s office.
