Exporting and Importing Tests

You may wish to reuse an existing test you have already created in one course inside of a different course. This process involves Exporting the test from one course and then Importing it into a different course.

Note: This same process can be replicated to export/import Test Pools. Instead of clicking “Tests” in Step 2, click “Pools”.

Export a Test

  1. Enter the course in which the test is located. From the Control Panel, in the “Course Tools” area, click Tests, Surveys, and Pools.
  2. Click Tests.

4. Select Export to Local Computer.

5. Once the file downloads, choose a location to save the file. Depending on your browser, you may need to click Save, Save File or Save As.

6. The saved file is the file you will import into the second course.
