Job Summary

The Director, University Business Services and HUB Coordinator directs all functions and personnel relating to Procurement, Contracts and the HUB Program, ensuring compliance with state requirements, goals, and with UHD's policies and procedures.

Duties

  • Oversees all processing of all University purchase requisitions, purchase orders and Procurement card.
  • Designs, administers, manages and provides training for the Contract Administration function.
  • Monitors, corrects and improves payable transactions using the appropriate software. Collaborates with the Accounts Payable, Travel and other departments as necessary to develop training materials.
  • Directs all aspects of the HUB program, ensuring that it meets state goals and mandates and produces HUB reports as required.

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of related job experience

License/Certification:

  • Certified Texas Contract Developer (CTCD) certification required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in higher education
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Financial

  • Knowledge of the State of Texas procurement/contract development and expenditure laws and regulations

Work Location and Physical Demands

Primary Work Location:

  • Works in an office environment.
