Job Summary

The Director, IT Business Services directs the business operations of the Information Technology Department. This includes directing and managing the support staff for the division as well as the financial, human resources management, procurement and contract administration for the division.

Duties

  • Directs all business operations and facilitates all IT projects and operations.
  • Directs procurement and contract processes for IT; approves purchase requisitions, vouchers, and travel vouchers submitted.
  • Directs IT Business Group staff.
  • Ensures that all relevant paperwork is processed according to policies and procedures.
  • Works with other Directors to ensure that spending is occurring as planned by the budget allocations.
  • Prepares audit reports.

  • Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of related job experience

  • Knowledge of the processes, trends, and best practices in providing business services in a higher education environment.

Skills:

  • Good technical skills, including proficiency in MS Office;

Work Location and Physical Demands

Primary Work Location:

  • Works in an office environment.
