Job Summary

The Database Administrator maintains and supports databases, including the SQL server database, by backing up, migrating, managing space, troubleshooting, and upgrading systems as required.

Duties

  • Maintains production, tests, and development databases to support applications and end users.
  • Troubleshoots database and application errors.
  • Works on new database projects as required.
  • Installs, upgrades, and maintains database and application software.
  • Monitors the performance of databases.
  • Facilitates communication between groups for planning purposes.
  • Maintains system integrity.

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of related job experience

License/Certification:

  • Certification in Oracle or SQL Databases

  • Knowledge of trends, developments, and best practices in database administration.

Skills:

  • Excellent technical skills, including proficiency in Oracle and/or SQL Databases;
