Job Summary

The Coordinator, Admissions Recruitment coordinates the operations and events of the admissions recruitment team.

Duties

  • Coordinates and supports recruitment team initiatives.
  • Serves as project coordinator for Admissions events; assists with scheduling campus visits.
  • Recruits and assists in enrolling prospective students by promoting the university and its academic program offerings.
  • Identifies and assists with resolving issues that arise during the admissions and matriculation processes of freshman and transfer students.
  • Assists with counseling freshman and transfer students.
  • Serves on various administrative committees; represents the university on state committees; participates in local, state, and national conferences.

Qualifications

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of related job experience

  • Knowledge of the recruitment and admissions processes at UHD, and of the related trends, issues, and accepted practices.
