Scope of Responsibilities
At UHD, Dr. Khoja is responsible for Institutional Research and Institutional Effectiveness. She acts as the liaison to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges, which also involves submitting degree and program requests to Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges, Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and the Provost Council. In addition, Dr. Khoja's submits reports, coordinates program reviews and handles University accreditation. She assists the Provost in shared governance to develop and update University policies and works with leadership to create strategic plans and annual budgets. Dr. Khoja also oversees the operations of enrollment and student success goals, handles academic appeals in compliance with University guidelines and works with University colleges to coordinate graduate academic programs.
Dr. Khoja earned her Doctor of Management in Strategic Management from the University of Houston, Master of Business Administration from Southeastern University and her Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Karachi. Her certifications include: Certified Sustainability Professional.
Dr. Khoja has several years of experience in strategic planning and budgeting, policy analysis and implementation, curriculum assessment and new graduate degree program development. Her experience also includes work in accreditation maintenance, academic standards adoption, regulatory governance, organizational management and leadership.
