Scope of Responsibilities
As Vice President for Administration and Finance, Mr. Bradley is responsible for the following departments: Business Affairs, Budget, Procurement, Contract Administration, Information Technology, Facilities Management, Public Safety, Risk Management and Compliance and University Business Services. His responsibilities also include budget development and financial oversight, maintenance of campus facilities and grounds, development and maintenance of the technology infrastructure and campus security and risk management. In addition, Mr. Bradley is responsible for submission of financial reports and interaction with University of Houston System and state business officials. He serves as a senior policy advisor to the President, recommends long-range plans for development of the physical campus and oversees all major construction projects.
Educational Qualifications
Mr. Bradley earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston and Bachelor of Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University.
Professional Experience
David Bradley has nearly 36 years of experience within the University of Houston System. Of those years, 32 have been with University of Houston-Downtown (UHD). For the past 14 years, he has served as UHD's Vice President for Administration and Finance and acted as a contributing member of the leadership team during the University's growth in enrollment, budget, physical campus and reputation. Prior to this, Mr. Bradley held the following UHD positions that steadily built his knowledge regarding all aspects of Administration and Finance operation: Assistant Vice President for Administration, Director of Administrative Services and Assistant to the Vice President for Administration.
