Scope of Responsibilities
As Director of Institutional Data Analytics in the Office of Institutional Effectiveness, Dr. Dyer oversees the implementation of the analytical components of EAB, including creating and conducting trainings for multiple stakeholder groups on campus. She also serves as the point person for inquiries related to EAB analytics. Dr. Dyer builds predictive analytical models, conducts analysis to inform student persistence and academic success as well as prepares and presents analytical findings that support institutional decision-making and effectiveness. In addition, she leads the implementation of EAB analytics at UHD.
Educational Qualifications
Dr. Dyer earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rutgers and Doctor of Philosophy in Developmental Psychology from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Professional Experience
Prior to joining UHD, Dr. Dyer was a Research Associate on a large grant-funded longitudinal study at the University of Texas at Dallas. She led the research lab and contributed to project design, data management and data analysis.
