Scope of Responsibilities
At UHD, Dr. Grau is responsible for preparing and maintaining Utilization Facility Reporting and Documentation. He monitors facility maintenance and administers the Security Access System. Dr. Grau reviews and approves employee reported time and leave requests. He provides lab-based technical support and participates in UHD faculty and professional staff committees. Dr. Grau develops budget forecast projections and participates in the College Unit Planning Process. He serves as Departmental Property Custodian for Inventory Control, monitors the Maintenance and Operations budget and approves purchasing requests. He also maintains the departmental website as Content Manager.
Dr. Grau earned his Doctor of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Houston, Master of Science in Instructional Technology from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Philosophy from the University of St. Thomas.
Dr. Grau has more than 20 years of higher education experience and has served as an Adjunct Lecturer in Urban Education at UHD since 2009. Throughout the past 18 years, he has been a strategic partner in representing students and University interests related to his area.
