Scope of Responsibilities
At UHD, Ms. Morales is responsible for providing counsel on pay decisions, policy interpretation and job evaluations. She performs job analysis and assigns pay grades, recommends salary adjustments and approves salaries on all staffing requests. Ms. Morales orients employees, processes enrollments/changes and oversees the administration of all leaves. She communicates information to employees, assists with policy development and collaborates in the yearly budget process. Ms. Morales also provides assistance with retirement processes and troubleshoots benefit problems.
Ms. Morales earned her Master of Business Administration from Texas Women's University and Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Houston-Downtown. Her certifications include: Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and Certified Benefits Professional (CBP).
Ms. Morales has more than 10 years of higher education experience, which includes work as a Business Administrator and Compensation Analyst.
