Scope of Responsibilities
At UHD, Ms. Rodney oversees administrative and financial matters in the division and develops, reviews, and oversees operating and capital budgets and commitments. She provides analysis, forecasting and reporting to inform management decision-making and coordinates the preparation of the annual budgets. Ms. Rodney provides leadership to develop standards and guidelines for management staff and participates in the development and administration of the academic policies. She also provides guidance and oversight for Academic Administration of UHD's colleges as well as Student Affairs and Enrollment Management.
Ms. Rodney earned Bachelors of Business Administration from Sam Houston State University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston-Downtown. She has a Process Improvement and Project Management Certification from the Marilyn Davies College of Business.
Chris Rodney has more than 10 years of experience in all areas of accounting functions with several of those years at the University of Houston and University of Houston-Downtown. Her experience includes analyzing operations and implementing effective systems, strategies and processes to improve organization performance and growth.
