    WRC Hours and Services

Meet in person, one-on-one with a trained writing tutor.

Work one-on-one with a tutor from any computer with an internet connection. Chat using our IM feature, or hook up a webcam and microphone. You can also upload a document that you and the tutor can work on together.

Upload a document to your appointment, and in 2 – 3 business days, we’ll e-mail you a link to a 5-minute screencast of feedback about your writing.

The WRC can help you to learn a variety of writing tasks, including

  • brainstorming writing ideas,
  • developing ideas more fully,
  • revising a completed draft,
  • learning how to edit your writing,
  • understanding instructor feedback, and
  • reading material for courses.
