2) Admission Requirements

HD admission requirements must be met before admission to University College is granted.
Listed below are the requirements for both UHD as well as University College. 

​BAAS in Applied Administration

To be admitted to the BAAS-AA program the student must hold an AAS degree in any field from a community college and a 2.25 GPA. Students may transfer up to 78 hours from the community college to meet the BAAS-AA degree requirements, which include the 42-hour state-mandated Texas Common Core and 36 hours of the courses required for the technical major of the AAS degree. The BAAS degree with a major in Applied Administration also requires completion of 42 hours of upper level Applied Administration program courses. Students pursing a BAAS-AA may choose the online program or the Saturday-Only programThe Saturday-Only program provides an accelerated BAAS-AA degree completion option with 8-week Terms to students who need a weekend program and prefer hybrid courses over those that are offered online only.
BS in Interdisciplinary Studies

The UHD BSIS degree is a 120-credit hour program. Students customize a degree plan to meet their academic goals and their intended career path. They can opt to complete a traditional minor or they may choose to study combinations that teach certain skills or focus on particular fields. The versatility of the BSIS allows up to 90 hours transfer credit and is often the degree of choice for transfer students seeking the most efficient path to 
graduation. Students may choose to focus on courses to improve leadership, presentation, and writing skills. Courses can be online, face-to-face, or a combination of the twoStudents are encouraged to complete a minor within their BSIS degree. UHD offers over 50 minors from which to choose. Consult an UC advisor regarding these options and how they may factor into your degree completion.


3) Ready To Apply?

(1) Apply online at www.applytexas.org.

(2) Submit final official transcripts from all schools attended.

(3) Await instructions from the Admissions Office regarding acceptance, orientation and advising which are mandatory before you can enroll.

1. Click on Student–eServices
2. Click on My Advising & Major
3. Click on Major Change Request
